II- THE ROLE
- Evaluates special fare requests from SALES DPT field offices and gives necessary decisions and recommendations.
- Establish KP market fares in accordance with specific market requirements and load the fares in ATPCO.
- Studies market trends and recommend market prices suitable to the specific potential market demand; evaluate, Revise and forecast on the current fares.
- Continually monitors the current fares and also other airline through fares with KP and develops alternative fare proposals, when required.
- Surveys competitor’s pricing activity and its resultant effects upon ASKYs system fares and recommends appropriate actions.
- Recommends the discontinuation, renewal and /or amendment of market fares based on market trend analysis and fare productivity findings.
- Provides support to KP field offices/GSAs with regards to pricing and ticketing issues.
- Performs other assignments as may be given by the Supervisor to time.
III- QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- At least BAC+2 in Marketing/Sales/Management with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Air Transport industry (Pricing Department or Ticketing agent).
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure
- Proven analytical skills; capacity to detect and correct anomalies and to solve problems; initiative to propose solutions and improvements.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Knowledge of SABRE Reservations and Amadeus will be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of English and French
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
