Applications are now open for the next edition of the Young Reporters Programme, which will run during the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games (YOG). Sixteen aspiring sports journalists from around the world will be selected to take part in this immersive training experience, and develop their skills in a real Games-time environment.
Young professionals aged 21 to 25 with a background in journalism, photography or broadcasting are invited to apply via the dedicated portal on Olympics.com. Students or a young professionals in journalism/photography can also apply.
The application window is open from now until 30 November 2025, and successful candidates will be notified by the end of February 2026.
All applicants must be fluent in English and provide a portfolio and references to support their candidacy.
